How To Protect Your Car Against Theft

Have you ever been stolen? In fact, I have had. I remember it was a Sunday night, I came home with my boyfriend C. C and I was talking when we came cross the street, without noticing anyone else.Unfortunately, my purse was stolen. Actually, those things happen a lot in our life. If you never suffer theft, then I need to say: you are very lucky. Nowadays auto crimes are widely spread in all countries. If you never encounter auto theft, then congratulate you.
It is suggested that you’d better buy some car anti theft devices. There are some cars anti theft devices available at the market.
1. Alarm Systems
It is clear that alarm system must be the top choice. You shoud take alarm systems into account, and install locks on you’re car to protect your vehicle from thieves. No matter what type of alarm systems you choose, just remember you should make sure that the products can make a loud noise. Usually, thieves are very afraid of noise when they are stealing something.
2. Wheel Locks

Wheel locks are very common in locking bikes, but they are also useful for vehicles. Make sure you get a high quality lock and the tires are locked.
3. Remote Keyless Entry System
A remote keyless entry system is another fine investment into your car’s safety. This is a special system which locks and unlocks access to cars remotely. This is achieved by sending pulses on a particular frequency. Encryption is used in new versions of this system. This allows preventing car thieves from deceiving the signal. As time goes on these systems are getting more and more commonplace and perfect.
4. Trackers
Even if you car has been stolen, you can find it easily if you give you car an equipment with a tracker device. The police will quickly find your car by following the tracker signal back to the source.
5. Immobilisers
This device is always a good idea. It cuts the fuel or the ignition and thus stops your vehicle from being started. The only point is that this device should be hidden in that it was useless if the thief finds it. Of course the immobilizer can not prevent a thief from braking into the vehicle but it is very useful for car stealing prevention.
6. VIN Etching
VIN is vehicle identification number which according to this idea is etched onto many parts of your car. This will make stealing your car with purpose of selling its parts impossible. So even if your vehicle is stole the presence VIN of various important parts of the car will make its identification easy.
All in all, there are many car anti theft devices in the market. If you want your car become safer, you should consider some of them.

2012 Audi R8, the World's Fastest-growing Luxury Sedan

When you look at this title, you must think I am a foolish person. How Audi R8 can be the world’s fastest-growing luxury sedan. If it is, what about Lamborghini Gallardo or Porsche 911 Turbo can be? Well, if you keep reading, you will find the anwser.

At first the Audi R8 seemed completely different, simply a stretched, German-size version of the Gallardo with a luxury kind of spin. After all, Audi is the world's fastest-growing luxury brand right now, while Lamborghini is extreme and exclusive, caring about very select customers that wouldn't be interested in Audi.

Moreover, the 2012 Audi A6 has won the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Pick award in the Institute's latest round of testing.

To qualify, a car must earn the highest rating of "excellent" in the institute’s wheel, front, seat, rollover, and rear tests, and also be fitted with electronic stability control as standard, the latter being mandated by federal regulators as of September 1 of this year.

The test rates how well the spare place would hold up in a rollover crash. Autos with a strength-to-weight ratio of 4 or higher earn a good rating. By comparison, the current federal standard is 1.5 times weight. Research has shown that occupants of vehicles with strong roofs are much less likely to sustain serious injuries in rollover crashes.

Side assesses are depended on performance in a crash test in which the side of a car is struck by a barrier moving at 31 mph--the barrier representing the front end of a pickup or SUV.

Finally, rear crash protection is rated using a test that simulates a collision in which a stationary vehicle is struck in the rear at 20 mph.

It's more interesting to see where the Audi engineers found the excess weight in the R8. They eliminated 18 pounds by using lighter carpets, and the new seats are 66 pounds lighter. The bumpers and engine cover are now in carbon fiber, which shaves off 33 pounds, while removing the acoustic insulation around the V10 saves another 44 pounds. Other weight-saving measures include a magnesium subframe for the engine, lighter brakes, a lightweight exhaust system and a polycarbonate rear window. Oh, let's not forget the forged-aluminum 19-inch wheels and the carbon-fiber rear wing.

From all of those reasons mentioned above, I believe you know why I choose”2012 Audi R8, the World's Fastest-growing Luxury Sedan” as my topic. If you want to know more about cars, welcome you keep in touch with me.

Bugatti Galibier- Alteration in It

Buggtti Calibier’s design concept was first unveiled to the public two years ago. It had been expected to publish in 2011, while the latest reports announce the Galibier has been altered in that the original concept been thought not enough by Durheimer. Another reason for its delay is the potential image of launching such an extravagant vehicle in this time of eco-consciousness.
Additionally, revealing plans for the extravagant--and not likely profitable, despite the halo image and stratospheric price--Galbier could derail the confidence of investors. After all, the Royale was a flop during its time, coming out just prior to the depression of the 1930s, and Bugatti would also be wary of the mistakes made by Daimler and its waning Maybach brand.
Durheimer, the new boss of Bentley and Bugatti said that he would suggest they continue development, but there would be some extraordinary changes from the original concept. The design would be a little different, especially from the B-pillar back, the interior room and ergonomics, the ingress and regress to the rear seats would be improved, the car would be a little longer, and the power of the engine would be at least four figures.
The official says there will be a remarkable change in Bugatti Galibier. The changes reportedly come out of feedback from current Veyron owners, half of whom have reportedly seen and sat in the Galibier concept car already. As a result, Durheimer has been said:’’the project has entered the second half of the design phase now, but the finished product will still bear more than a passing resemblance to the show car pictured above.’’
The production Bugatti Galibie, whose name is still unconfirmed is said to be unveiled by 2013 and will be priced about $2.3 million at the current rates. For some people who love racing, they can wait for the Bugatti’s rebut.

Should I Buy 2011 Honda Accord or 2011 Ford Fusion

What midsize sedan should I buy, 2011 Honda Accord or 2011 Ford Fusion? Many family members are puzzled by this question. In order to help you make a quick choice, I list some advantages and disadvantages of two vehicles. Maybe it will give you a hint to decide.
2011 Honda Accord
Advantages:
The 2011 Honda Accord is available as a midsize sedan and coupe. The sedan comes in LX, LX-P, SE, EX and EX-L trim levels, while the coupe comes in LX-S, EX and EX-L trims. Every 2011 Honda Accord comes with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. In Edmunds brake testing, the various Accords we've tested over the years have stopped from 60 mph in about 130 feet -- on the long side for this class of car. The Honda Accord no longer features the sort of class-leading materials and construction that used to make its cabin a benchmark. There are more hard plastics than in some competing vehicles and fit and finish has gone down a bit from the car's predecessors. A rather uninspired design with an abundance of buttons doesn't do it any favors. The optional navigation system boosts the button tally further, but its voice commands, high-mounted screen and multipurpose knob are at least user-friendly.
The base four-cylinder engine is unremarkable, providing leisurely and rather raucous acceleration, but the upgraded 190-hp version is more refined and offers the same fuel economy.
Disadvantages:
Not a fuel-economy leader;
Intrusive road noise;
So-so interior quality;
Bluetooth limited to a few top trims;
Seats are uncomfortable;
Headroom is tight in back.

2011 Ford Fusion
Pros:
Earlier incarnations of the Fusion already had the basics down, including a pleasant driving demeanor, a comfortable ride and a high level of overall refinement. For power, there's a fully competitive 175-horsepower four-cylinder base engine, a 240-hp 3.0-liter V6 or a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 in the Fusion Sport. The midlevel V6 is a bit down on power and acceleration compared to the V6s in most other models, but it still provides decent real-world performance. The Sport model can be optioned with the SEL's standard equipment plus a blind-spot warning system, a back-up camera, a sunroof and a 12-speaker Sony sound system. There are also several packages available (depending on trim) that include a Monochrome Appearance package that provides a body-color grille, a rear spoiler and 18-inch wheels. The highlights of the Luxury package include chrome exterior accents, premium leather upholstery, unique alloy wheels and illuminated front door sills.
Cons:
Smaller inside than truly large family sedans;
Numb electric power steering on non-Sport models;
Button-happy center stack;
Fusion Sport wants, needs paddles for shifting;
Smaller V-6 is a groaner;
Raspy four-cylinder engine note.
All of those have been introduced, I am very glad if you have got the usful information.

How to Provide Tires Longer Sevrice Life?

Going to work, getting back home, visiting friends, driving for fun, we do those things in our life. Most of us would feel that car has become an essential part of our life. On condition that you own a car or even a bike, you definitely should check it when you plan to go out. In fact, we often check car’s lights, the level of oil, engine and other parts of it, but we nearly pay attention to the tires. It is known to us all, tires are very important for a car. Without tires, car would not move. Then how to provide tires’ longer life?
First, you should know check your tires pressure. You should do it regularly and insist on it. It is recommended that check your tires every week or every day before you go out. Basically, there are two conditions:
1. Tires’ pressure is lower than standard.
2. Tires’ pressure in your tires is over standard. If you meet the first kind of circumstance, you’d better pump your tires up, or they will wear much faster. If you are in the second situation, you should deflate some air, or your car is likely to slide out of the road.
Second, choose right tires for your car. It is necessary for you to choose appropriate tires for your car. Well, how to choose? The first thing you can do is to know your tires’ size, and then you should select a store which can provide you a huge selection of tires and meet your needs. Last, you should consider your ability to pay them. If you have enough money, you car send your car to car dealership. Of course, it will cost you a small fortune in this way. If you want to save money, buy tires online is an alternative. It is suggested “Carpart4u.com” is a good site, which offers auto parts including various tires in different types at an unbeatable price. Maybe you can google it if you are interested in it. By the way, you should remember: if you decide to buy tires online, you can get discount without any doubt, but on the other hand, it means you should know how to set your tires up before buying them.
Third, pay attention to your way of driving. I guess you could not possibly like walking in an uneven road, neither could your car.  When you drive your car on a bumpy road, tires can not handle such chanllenges too often.
All of those are my suggestions on your tires. I hope they are useful and helpful. Enjoy your life.

Husband recycles auto parts to gift a custom-built trike to wife

Have you ever given your beloved wife a gift? I guess most of you have had. While have you ever DIY your gift? I guess most of you haven’t done that. While most of you often gift cars to your wives, Max Scott is different as the Navy veteran gifted his wife a custom-made three-wheeled motorcycle, which he built himself. Max spent eight months designing the trike after knee surgery made his wife Serenda unable to ride motorcycles. The plus point is Max managed to construct the trike using material from other motor vehicles. For example, he took material from a boat to make the driver seat. Serenda gave her input in the artwork of the front portion of the trike.

Scott was helped by his friends Glen Campbell and Don Rimley in building this trike for his wife. The back half of a dune buggy was cut off by trio and then attached to the trike in front. Rimley’s decision to help Max came as a blessing because Rimley, earlier, had done some work in modifying motorcycles. Scott and his friends faced trouble in designing the back section of the trike. They used fibre glass and gave shape to the buggy portion using an electric kitchen knife.

Seats in Max’s trike is unique as a bench seat has been fixed in the back frame. The bench is large enough to accommodate three people. Max has used some car parts as well. He has used Volkswagen Beetle’s 1641 high velocity engine. The master hydraulic controls come from an Audi.

How to Wisely Buy a New Car?

With so many new cars in front of you, which ways can help you to choose a right one? It’s easy if you have decided to buy a certain one, but down that road lines definitely trouble you. Or you can pay attention to the price, but if you do that, regardless of the other considerations, such as comfor, safety or reliability, you will be not content with your purchase.
So where to start a real bargain?
In order to make sure you buy a new car that fits you needs, you can answer these 10 questions:

1 . Do I need a domestic or an import brand? Does it really matter?
2 . Do I prefer a large new car, a medium-sized new car, or a small one?
3.Do I want a vehicle with rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive or some sort of all-wheel-drive?
4. Do I need a new car that can do 150 mph?
5. Do I prefer a soft ride, a "sporty" ride, or something between?
6. Do I need a vehicle that can carry cargo? If I do, then how much is it?
7. How about safety? Are crash test scores very important?
8. What kind of gas mileage is acceptable and what's not?
9. Should I care about where to buy auto parts?
10. Is brand important for me?

Your answers to the above will help you exclude a lot of models, narrowing your pool of possible candidates automatically. Now it comes to the big problem: How much do you want to pay?
Never plan to buy a new car without thoroughly figuring out beforehand the maximum amount of money you're comfortable spending and stick to it. This will keep you on budget and help you dodge the "low monthly payment" shuck. Be sure to include everything in the bottom line, too. That means finance charges, interest, taxes, insurance, everything you will need to spend to own and drive the car.
Having picked out a model, you can further narrow down the potential new cars on your list to a possible half dozen or so.
Now it's time to actually take look at each auto left on your list. Sit in it, see how the controls feel and, ideally, take each out for an extended test drive. It is strongly suggested that you insist on a test drive of at least an hour or two before you begin to talk about buying a new car. Otherwise, you're buying "problem" that could turn out to have seats that are too hard, a transmission that's hard for you to shift smoothly, and an engine that's too noisy.
Bring a notebook with you and write down the things you like about the vehicle and those you don't for long run reference.
Most dealers will highly recommend a buyer do test drive. It's a reasonable request given you are considering a purchase that could amount to tens of thousands of dollars. If the dealer refuses to provide a test drive, it's smart to cut it out from your list and move on to the next one. Once you've test driven all the candidates, you'll have a much better idea which of them might be "right" new car for you. Usually, you'll be able to narrow down the choice to just one or two specific models that work for you.
The rest part is an easy job.Having choosen one or two "possibles," you can get down to car prices and negotiating the best deal when you buy a new car. One make may be the focus of a very compelling financing deal. Or perhaps you can get more options in one new car model for about the same price as the other. Or maybe you just happen to like the way one of them looks a little bit more than the other. But whichever model you end up driving home, you're bound to buy a new car that's right for you.
